• Locked price product: for companies that want to know the exact cost of the purchased energy in advance, so that they can get a fixed price and amount of energy for the entire contract period.
• Indexed price product: for companies that prefer some flexibility and want to purchase the required amount of energy step by step – at the moments when energy prices on the market are most favourable. In this way, timing risks of energy purchase are effectively dispersed.

Guarantees of Origin

The origin of green energy is proven with European Guarantees of Origin demonstrating that the electricity was produced exclusively from renewable sources. Membership in the European Energy Certificate System (EECS) enables us to provide carbon-free electricity produced in accordance with Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources, which is recognized by the EU Member States.

Demand Response

Development of innovative products with an aim to create added value for our business partners, is one of the most recognizable features of GEN-I. We help partners who wish to become actively involved in the electricity market to maximize the utilization of their production or consumption facilities  and thus create additional, often underutilized, source of revenue.

We are a pioneer supplier in Europe to offer market demand response services in order to exploit market opportunities on intraday markets, balancing market and ancillary services market. We enable large business customers and smaller producers to integrate in the ancillary services market to ensure reserve power necessary for the implementation of tertiary regulation. Currently, our latest product is already successfully marketed in Austria, but in the future, we intend to offer it on other Western European markets and in Slovenia as well.
